Murder Mystery Dinners
Enjoy an evening like no other with a lively murder mystery dinner show aboard our train. Inspired by such classics as Murder on the Orient Express, a moving train is the ideal location to experience a murder mystery show. We take a light-hearted approach to our show and our goal is to provide you with a memorable evening of laughter and good food while you ride through the countryside.
The Show: Deliciously dreadful soap opera - Days of our Nights - is celebrating the last episode of its 30th season aboard a train which has been artfully disguised as Amtrak 1. In an effort to raise the soap's sagging ratings, Director Lazlo Saltimbocca has invited a "very big" mystery star to make a cameo appearance in tonight's cliffhanger, prior to joining the company as the leading actor next season. Trouble breaks out when the stars Bianca Leigh, Marco Polo and Destiny Nightingale make some nasty discoveries about their future. Train guests will double as "extras" on the show, lending their talents and their expertise as witnesses to murder.
We Offer two levels of service:
Silver Ticket Your ticket includes a delicious three-course dinner, murder mystery show, and 32-mile train trip. Unless noted otherwise, the train departs at 7pm and returns to Oakdale at 10pm . When you book your reservation, our staff will let you know how early you should arrive to check in. The 18% service charge includes a pre-paid gratuity for meal service provided by your waiter or waitress.
$62 per guest (plus service charge & taxes)
Gold Ticket Our "Gold Ticket" upgrade includes an excellent combination of added services. Your evening begins with priority boarding and premium seating that ensures a private table. In addition to our delicious 3-course silver ticket dinner, we add an additional appetizer when you board the train. There will be a complementary champagne toast at the beginning of the trip (non-alcoholic options available). You receive complementary soda, juice and coffee during your trip. And finally, every lady in Gold Ticket service receives a rose.
