Pinecrest Chalet is a cabin and townhouse resort located in the beautiful Stanislaus National Forest in the Central California Sierras. We are the closest lodging to Dodge Ridge Winter Sports Area skiing and snowboarding, and two minutes from Pinecrest Lake. Accommodations vary from non-kitchen cottages, to kitchenette cabins, to two to four bedroom cabins and townhomes. These are scattered throughout seven acres on the North Fork Tuolumne River amidst a pine and cedar forest. Swimming pool, basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, and playground are on-site and right outside your door you will find sledding and snowplay in the winter and hiking in the summer.

Directions:
If starting from San Francisco Bay Area, take I580 east to I205 around Tracy. Follow signs for HWY120 through Manteca toward Yosemite.

If starting from Central Valley, take closest route to connect with HWY120/108. This may be I99 to HWY120 in Manteca, HWY140 in Merced to HWY49 north, or HWY16 in Sacramento to HWY49 south.

Once on HWY120/108, follow HWY120/108 to Yosemite Junction. Continue on HWY108 to Sonora. Those coming south on HWY49 will connect with HWY108 in Sonora.

Pinecrest is 30 miles east of Sonora on HWY108. Follow the signs to Pinecrest, turning right off HWY108 just before the Stanislaus National Forest Summit Ranger Station. Take the next right, about 1/4 mile down the road, following the sign toward Dodge Ridge Ski Area. This is Dodge Ridge Road. Pinecrest Chalet is 1 mile on the right.
