Columbia singer-songwriter Ron DeLacy, the Doodoo half of irreverent folk duet Doodoo Wah, brings his self-described "Somewhat Solo" show back to the Stage 3 Theatre on Friday and Saturday nights, Aug. 28-29. (Note: these two shows sold out on August 18th so we just added the Sunday 2:00 pm show. tickets are still available. Hurry !!)

"I can't wait," said DeLacy, whose debut solo show sold out the Stage 3 venue a year ago. "I absolutely love the smallness, the closeness, the intimacy, of Stage 3."

He brought one guest in his sold-out appearance here last year, and this time he plans on a few more, including longtime friends and Winter Night's Yeow collaborators Cactus Bob and the Prairie Flower, plus Julio "In Glasses" Guerra, who also played in the Yeow concerts that DeLacy produced for more than a decade through 2005.

DeLacy has been the songwriting half of Doodoo Wah for 19 years, and still performs occasionally with Dave "Wah" Cavanagh -- but ever more rarely.
In his solo shows, DeLacy plays guitar, banjo, mandolin, ukulele and harmonica and mixes Doodoo Wah songs with other originals, "other songs I wish I had written ," and cover tunes from musical influences "from Presley to Prine, Dino to Domino."
